People often wonder what Mental Health Occupational Therapy is…
Sometimes after a disruption following illness, injury, or ongoing chronic disease a person's capacity to maintain their daily life may become affected.
Occupational therapists (OTs) are licensed medical providers with a unique practice that draw from many areas. including: the science of behavior. the structure of the body. and how these things improve or impede function.
Occupational therapists study the science of function and focus on increasing a person’s ability to do what they want or need to do. OTs incorporate activities that are meaningful to the individual into sessions and provide hands-on help.
These services are typically covered by insurance. Please contact us for more questions.

We Currently Accept the following
Private Pay / Out of Pocket
Due to insurance and state laws, we work with your primary care provider to determine a plan of care to best treat your medical or behavioral health condition. If you are using insurance or paying out of pocket and desire an occupational therapy assessment, treatment plan, or clinical documentation for your records, we will request info about your primary care provider.
If you are paying out of pocket and are interested in the benefits of services beyond treating a specific condition, consider our Mental Wellness Coaching as an option.
***Occupational therapy is considered an additional support or enhancement to the other mental health services, but may also be the primary or only therapy a person receives.
OT can greatly benefit someone who is managing mental health symptoms in the home and community, but should not be mistaken for traditional talk therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatry, social work, or early childhood trauma healing.
We may refer you out to one of the above providers depending on your clinical needs.***
